Dispatch Questions
What’s the difference between a freight dispatcher and a broker?
Freight brokers act as intermediaries, connecting shippers with carriers, while freight dispatchers work directly for carriers, managing the scheduling and coordination of goods transportation to ensure smooth operations for a fee.
Can a dispatcher improve my drivers performance?
Not only do we optimaze routes, find the highest paying loads, and manage all communication with brokers, we also track carrier’s on-time pick-up and deliveries which will open more business relationships and more profits for our carriers.
Whats does a freight dispatcher do?
A freight dispatcher coordinates the transportation of goods by finding and booking profitable loads, negotiating rates, and handling communication between carriers and brokers. We manage paperwork, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide ongoing support to keep trucks running efficiently and drivers focused on the road.
How much do truck dispatching services cost?
We charge a flat rate of 8% per booked load. We do not add any additional hidden charges or fees. You have full control over your expenses while enjoying total convenience for each load you deliver.
